Individual Study for Learning

Research and experience has proven that working individually with children that suffer learning disabilities can benefit the child.

Children with dyslexia, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and other mental disorder have proven to benefit from individual study.

When a child is on a different level of understanding it is often difficult for him to concentrate while in a classroom full of students.

Teachers are often busy teaching children on the same level, and will often ignore the need of the child with a learning problem.

Anytime a child illustrates an inability to learn, they are often taking for granted, and most times considered mentally ill. This is not true in many cases, since we all learn at different levels.

Our school system is one of the biggest let downs proven to misunderstand learning disabilities. Foreign countries that place education at the top of the list has proven to be more effective than American education in helping children learn.

In the foreign countries, you might hear few stories of disorders, disease and so forth, and rarely are you going to hear about learning disorders or disabilities.

What does this tell us? It should say that misdiagnoses exist and education has a lot of learning to do to catch up with individuality.

It sounds crazy, since we have many types of personalities in school trying to play psychiatrist. At the same time, the people are teaching our children by their own standards.

Education programs have good qualities, but something has to give since the learning disability is leaning toward their side.

When children are developing, they will often observe things, people and places around them, thus using their nouns. The child will experience troubled areas, simply because the trust has been violated.

In other words, the child sees’ actions and will possibly follow the examples while continuing his course in life.

Later, someone approaches the child and tells him in so many words that what he saw was an illusion. They will try to discourage the child from believing what he saw with his own eyes is real, thus attempting to force him to disbelieve his own individuality.

This pattern can be proved to create learning problems. We see trust violated, confidence torn down, hopes demolished and wonder why we have learning disabilities at soaring rates.

Take your child to a medical examiner for a complete physical before you consider other possibilities. It is important that you as the parent learn all you can about your child’s behaviors before jumping to conclusions. Personally, before doctors had a chance with my children, I did a thorough research and shut them up before they got started.

Mental health experts are notorious for taking people for granted and handing down diagnoses, even if no diagnose exists. At least many of them will diagnose a person, and generally on the first visit. It takes time and observation beyond an hour to determine if a person has a mental illness and/ore learning disability. Therefore, studying from your own being is the best possible method for learning accuracy.

This means that you will not accept the words coming from anyone’s mouth, until you have thoroughly investigated, collecting evidence that will shut him or her up, or make them listen.

People can be cruel, and if they continue to get away with it, they will take anyone for granted.

Part of learning is learning the facts to support your claims. There is not one person that will deny you if you have concrete evidence supporting the facts. Therefore, if you have a child with learning inabilities, learn the facts before you head on down the road to chaos and confusion.
